Meditation can be a path to self-awareness and compassion toward others, but it can also be a path to better overall health and well-being. Join Rev. Zahir Orest of the Northern Lotus Zen Community for group Zen Meditation practice. All are welcome from complete beginners to seasoned meditators, no experience needed.

If you are new, arrive at 6:45-7 PM for instruction in meditation & room etiquette
7:00 – 7:20 – Sitting meditation
7:20 – 7:30 – Walking breath practice (Kinhin)
7:30 – 7:50 Sitting meditation
7:50 – 8:00 Formal exit
You are welcome to join in either or both of the meditations. Floor cushions and chairs are provided.

Let's focus on our hips for whole body benefits! Improve circulation, flexibility, and movement in your hips, back, and legs. Tight hips can be a cause of chronic back pain. This slow, focused functional approach to the practice will help ease problematic tension by opening, lengthening, massaging, and relaxing the muscles and connective tissues that surround and support the hips.

Bring a yoga mat, water, any pillows, props, or blankets you may need for comfort and support. We also have a few mats, props, and pillows available. All are welcome, no experience needed.
Hermit yoga is a gentle and meditative style with roots from Thailand. All are welcome, no previous yoga experience is needed. If you have trouble sitting on the floor, most seated exercises can be done from a chair. Learn more.

Learn simple and easy-on-your-body massage techniques that you can practice at home. A clothed partnered massage and stretching experience to empower you with skills to help treat common muscle aches and pains through giving and receiving a massage. No massage experience needed. We are your guide as you work your way around the body, dissolving tension, and relieving stress for your partner as well as yourself. All pairs are welcome, couples, family, and friends.
